Hensley finally got a deep red winter hat (from a Nexus run) and some nice loot under the christmas tree in Orgrimmar. The Marrymaker-achivement got completed on christmas day and Hensley took a field trip to Howling Fjord to celebrate with penguins.

Regarding my trinket/gearing-dilemma in Icecrown Citadel. My fellow co-tank and some nice replies on the tankspot forum pointed out the obvious for me.

Gearing does not differ from any other instance and i should stop to worry about the dodge-nerf. There will still be bosses where stacking effective health shine (like the hard hitting Lord Marrowgar) and there will be bosses where avoidance is king (like fast hitting Deathbringer Saurfang).

So, its pretty much business as usual, even under the Chill of the Throne-debuff.

On the topic; i found a rough gearing discussion/guide on the tankspot-forum that might be worth reading.
