My intergalactic detour as captain on Normandy have an massive effect on my time spent in Azeroth at the moment. Like everyone else on this planet, earth that is, i am completely stoked by Biowares epic sequel to Mass Effect. I still rank the first game as one of the best games ever created. Big words, but well deserved. Few other games during the last five years have managed to pull me away from WoW (and everything else) so completely. The infiltrator Fröken Shepherd is about to have showdown with the Collectors soon. Just. Need. To. Probe. One. More. Planet.

But Hensley have not been slacking totally. The netherwing grind finally came to an end today and rewarded me with a pitch black netherdrake. One of the best looking flying mounts in the game, if you ask me.
A few nerds (i love you!) discovered, by analyzing logs with a special addon, that very few bosses (only Lady Deathwhisper confirmed so far) do parry-haste in ICC. This means that the value of expertise is lower then predicted before and it also means that i don´t need to hold on to my expertise-pants so hard anymore. So i rushed to ICC, bought the recipe and crafted Pillars of Might. An insane upgrade for my tank set. All the stamina and armor is just beautiful.

I also felt that i needed a RP-sword and picked up a battered hilt for the Quel’Delar-quest line. Fun and epic quest line. I especially liked the part where you have to help to guy in Dalaran to wash clothes (to be able to borrow a tabard and sneak into the alliance base). And it felt epic as hell to venture back into the Sunwell to forge the sword in the final step. Last time i stood in front of the Sunwell, i was a shadow priest putting dots and melting Kil’Jaedens face with Mind Flays.
I truley hope that Blizzard someday makes an equally colorful, unforgivingly hard and epic raid instance again. Sunwell Plateau is still my favorite raid zone. So much blood, sweat and tears have poured inside those walls.
